Custom Cabinets Lynn is a local cabinetry marketing and lead-referral service for Lynn, Massachusetts. Estimates and work arranged through this site are carried out by an independent licensed cabinets contractor serving the area. Custom Cabinets Lynn does not itself perform construction work and does not hold the license for work performed.

Pricing

Prices shown are typical ranges for Lynn and the surrounding towns. They are not quotations. Every job is measured and priced on site in writing before any work begins or anything is ordered, and the written figure is what appears on the invoice.

Where no trade source publishes a defensible range for a line, the row says so rather than carrying a figure. Each table names its own sources.

Guidance published here describes general practice for cabinetry in eastern Massachusetts housing, most of which predates 1978 and a great deal of which predates 1940. It is not a substitute for an on-site measure of your own room.

The rules cited on this site are published by the bodies that write them. Building work is governed by 780 CMR, the Massachusetts State Building Code. Work disturbing painted surfaces in a pre-1978 home is governed by 454 CMR 22.00 and the federal Renovation, Repair and Painting rule at 40 CFR 745 Subpart E. Residential home improvement agreements are governed by MGL c.142A. Where a specific job sits on the line between an ordinary repair and permitted work, that determination belongs to the local building inspector in writing.
