Custom Cabinets Lynn is a cabinet shop rather than a remodeling company, and that is the first useful thing to know about us. Kitchens are most of our week. Vanities, closets, mudrooms, laundry rooms and bookcases are the rest. Everything on our list of services is work we take on ourselves.
Who turns up at your door
The person who measures your room is the one who fits it. You are not handed to a crew who have never seen your kitchen, and that matters on the day a run has to meet a wall that leans.
We give you a name and a two-hour window instead of a whole day. If the job before yours runs long, we call you before your window opens rather than after it closes. The shop runs 7am to 4pm on weekdays and until noon on Saturday, and there is nobody sitting at a desk outside those hours.
The parts of your kitchen we hand to somebody else
We build and fit cabinetry. We do not touch plumbing, wiring, gas, tile or floors, and you hear that at the estimate rather than in week two.
So if your sink is moving, a plumber does the pipe and we do the boxes around it. If a taller run buries an outlet, an electrician puts the outlet back. Both go on our sheet as somebody else's line with a figure beside them, so the total you are holding is honest about what it covers. Whether any of it needs a permit is a question we answer on its own page.
From your first phone call to a price
Give us the length of the wall in feet and a rough idea of what you want, and we can put you inside a range on the call. That saves you an appointment when the honest number is nowhere near the one in your head.
The visit takes about an hour and you are not charged for it. You get the written price back within two working days, and nothing is ordered and no money changes hands before then. Every band we quote from is already public on the cabinet cost guide, so you can check our figure against our own tables.
When something is not right
New cabinetry settles, and a door or two usually needs adjusting once the house has been through a winter. We come back and reset them.
Where the mistake is ours we say so and put it right. Where it sits in something we did not supply, you get told that as well, and we would rather have that conversation standing in the room than over email. Most of the calls we take come from people who have already had us in the house once.
How far we go
We work across Essex, Middlesex and Suffolk counties, which comes to about 20 towns around Lynn. Nahant, Swampscott, Saugus, Revere, Salem, Peabody and Danvers are the ones we are in most weeks.
We turn down work outside that ring. A cabinet job is never one visit. It is a measure, a delivery, a fitting day and usually a call back for adjustment, and the further out we drive the worse we get at all four.

Start with refacing against replacing if there is any chance your boxes are fine. Refacing runs $5,000 to $13,000 and a sprayed kitchen runs $2,000 to $6,500, next to $10,000 to $26,500 to build a 10x10 kitchen new. Those three bands settle most of what people call us about.
