What to have ready before you call
Measure the wall your cabinets run along, corner to corner, and give us that in feet. It is the number every price on this site is built on, and it is the only one that makes two quotes readable against each other.
Count your doors and your drawer fronts. On a refacing or painting job that count is most of the price, and it is the difference between a $2,200 answer and a $6,600 one.
Open the cabinet under your sink and look at the floor of it. If the deck is dark, soft or lifting at the back corner, tell us, because that box is a separate line and it changes which route we would put you on.
Tell us what year the house went up if you know it. Anything before 1978 puts painting and stripping work under lead-safe rules, and we would rather price that in than surprise you with it.
